Jalen has been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2019. She is a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) and is certified in Animal Assisted Counseling (AAC).

Jalen understands how we may find ourselves stuck in negative or unhelpful thinking cycles and behavioral patterns. Jalen will help her clients explore the ways in which multigenerational trauma and racial trauma are connected to present-day depression, anxiety, and relationship challenges. She is passionate about helping people feel affirmed and understood through their life experiences. Her goal is to support clients in reaching their optimal mental and emotional wellbeing.

Jalen offers a safe and non-judgmental approach to working with clients. She utilizes a cognitive behavioral framework to address issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use. She has extensive experience working with at-risk youth and their families. She would be a great fit for parents looking for parenting support.
